punctuations

“periods disconnect words meant to form sentences.”

So, by saying I. Am. Tired. technically does not make any sense at all. Because words (inthiscase) would be All. Broken. Up. And so I read something today which I shouldn’t have and It. Doesn’t. Matter.

It’s nice to know that punctuations and periods (specifically) can lessen the impact of the statement in this case because linguistically, no meaning can be derived from it any longer.

Ahhh the wonderments of newfound wisdom via MSN Modules.

“Risk! Risk anything! Care no more for the opinion of others, for those voices. Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth.”

Katherine Mansfield

I like KM. Especially Bliss. And Prelude. There’s something about her writings/shortstories that is spinetingling, almost scary. She writes stories about the most ordinary events and stories of womenrepression and domestic affairs, and you can always tell the depression and loneliness and moodywritingangst.

What’s worse, I think KM’s depression, loneliness and moodywritingangst makes her way too cool. Besides the fact that she died tooyoung of course.
