1. This day will (forever) go down as the day the cinematheatres decided to turn oldschool. We heard Wilson Philips over the speakers & flipped. : ) Ok, so I get thrilled rather easily. BUT it was funny because 80% of the cinemagoers looked 16-18yo and probably never heard of WP before!! Sadly, that didn’t stop di&myself from mouthing & singing along. The Pursuit of Happyness: The reason why Soph likes christopherjaydensmith. Enough said.

2. I love the cloth on my new clothboundjournals. Thankyouverymuch to Di’s R for verysogallantly giving me the boxset. Really.

3. Surprised Mom with somethingnice like pretty paper and cutouts. And birds.

4. Sketched a picture of Denice in my livingroom as the entire family gathered in a crisis. She was staring off into the trees outside the window. I had a dream that my tongue had fallen off the night before. And here I was, sitting alone by the piano bench because we had run out of chairs in the house- they were all taken up by family who were engaging in conversation: divorce, separation, wills, housing loans, debts & affairs.

I wonder how my cousin’s life has changed.

And I wonder why my piano has never been tuned in 9 years.
