for trying to get wennie to cut her hair and leave some bangs. Getting her to change her haircut is like making her wear surfergirl shorts. Actually, I don’t feel guilty. Today I found an article : “Best Haircuts for Long Faces — Add Bangs”. This article, also known as “Now you know Dawn is Right” will explain it all.

when you’re still wearing the same grey sweater
Dear KS,
I’m not sure if you’ll ever read this. But snubbing sleep to catch up with you (8 years on) is, by far, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made at 3AM in the morning. Washing puke off my jeans in the dark, by a kitchen sink, and trying to drink listerine (so I don’t smell of alcohol) don’t even cut it anymore. But I digress. I had one of the best 3AM moment yesterday.
Now, I like to think we’re still the same. I don’t wear my brown cargo pants, but my sense of humour is still intact. You, on the other hand, went on to live in a farm. So I woke up today and cannot imagine how my thenbestfriend became a stockbroker. What’s a stockbroker doing living in a farm anyway? And why do you still have the same grey sweater? And why do you look the same as you did when you were 17? It’s so scary that it’s almost not funny anymore.
I don’t even remember why we stopped speaking 8 years ago. Ok. I lie. I do remember. But reunions are especially meaningful this way, aren’t they? We did the best we could then. And it’s funny how you remember different things now and I remember different things and when we piece the fragmented memories together, all I really want to do is to crawl into a hole and die. I cannot remember you buzzing my house to wake me up for class. I cannot remember you being mad at me for asking you to return my library books. I don’t remember ending phone conversations by saying ‘End’. I can remember playing table tennis for the first time in the metal containers. I can remember your handwriting. I can remember the sound of your voice. And I can remember you had the oddest crush on Stephen Chou.
So you ask me what I’ve been up to, and I don’t know where to start. What have you missed, really? Over the years, I’ve grown to have a fondness for tea. Or bubble tea. I’m still not a very coffee/morning person and am still very lazy when it comes to exercise. I have, however, ditched the snowboard and gone skiing. I couldn’t snowboard then, I still can’t snowboard now. I also like to travel and would love to see your rustic farmhouse someday.
End.
Love,
Dawn
