I’ve never tried cold rock before in sydney or brisbane…but i’ve passed it by somanytimes in singapore and it looks fascinating, absolutely. there are rows and rows of toppings at the side (like maltesers!!/ or violet crumble!) and bestofall, the icecreamman or woman will bring your icecream and dairycreamthings to the corner and smash it up with the toppings you’ve chosen for the day! 

So I finally tried some with the girls - I was very excited and they were very nice to let me choose the toppings I wanted. harhar.

Edit: So I had icecream and smashed toppings on thursday, or was it friday. I think it was Thursday- because friday saw me having a night out with don moen and delirious. I left the stadium feeling vv old. But don moen was a sight to behold. He looks like don moen — and the songs hit the ceilings of the indoor stadium and actually did a double-flip back to the stage. A while after, I am standing aimlessly and lingering in the night. We stay under a lamppost, yellow, and I’m waiting for a cab  and touching my broken toe very gingerly at the same time and then it hits me: Don moen singing is akin to having gin and tonic (for free) on the plane. I feel Warm. and Lightheaded.

Today is sunday and I return (just) from having cut my hair. I look many shades younger which causes quite abit of grief. There’s dinner with the family today, an attempt by di and myself to connect with parents and take time out to do something together. I ask daddy to eat the doughnuts I bought for him last night but he says no, because mom says it’s too sweet, but I tell him to eat a little anyway because I know he likes them and we have to live life a little everyday.

Five minutes later: He slips into the kitchen when he thinks no one is looking.
