why i love thailand

Man. I don’t often recommend youtube links. But the above link is brilliant! It is also one of the reasons why I left 1/3 of my heart in the alleyways of bangkok. The other 1/3 remains in a northern village in chiangrai where the roads are dusty and where the children feed curry to the fishes in the pond behind the orphanage. But seriously, BKK city is filled with v.v. creative ppl + the arts industry is so vibrant – shame on you if you ever thought they were any less developed than singapore. I’d say they win hands-down. Anytime.

I have forgotten half of my thai vocab – I only remember ped mak if I want something hot and alittlebithere and alittlebitthere. Nit noi. verysadsigh.

I also like the ad because it again reiterates lesson learnt on sunday. With a slogan like: ‘To Every Little Good thing in life… Cheers!” – I am won over. : ) And I like seeing how they celebrate over small things (not only the big things). Yay! It’s like celebrating small victories oneday at a time.

Nice.
