remnants and strips of shadows

The idea of family is a funny thing. I learn to forget, sometimes. Today, when I discovered that my cousin started a blog and had our pictures posted, I was ________ . And omg, I look scrawny and tanned in a black polo tshirt and short hair (!!).

Ithink I shall/will never get used to the idea of having the little ones all grownup. In fact, if anything, there will always be this weird need to protect + shelter them. Instinct(iveness)? Protective(ness)? Q.funny, really, if you actually put some thought into it. I’ve not seen them for awhile (messymessy reasons) – a bigfamily is never easy and everyone lugs + pulls + drags their own personal luggage around (i like red ones! and my brown leather vintage piece that i picked up off hobsons in a flea market. harhar) – but they are missed. : )

There is little to say and save and scatter.

So here’s to hoping that we make it through the storm.

On a side note, I reallyreally like this picture of JF and the way the pics look so washed out and slightly exposed. and JF exudes manliness and looks ohsocharismatic (!) + cool in his blue suit.

I am so digging the collar shirts and oldfashioned-ness of it all.

Ooooo.!
