it’s been a long road

di is right.

it’s been a longlonglong time since we all met.

but it was veryverynice. i think the loudmouthed girls will always have a special place in my heart. AND they’ve all grown up! so thank you c, fh, chris + j, you remind me that we’ll always have mad scientists and laughoutloud days.

abridged stories

I think I talk too much. Harhar. After meeting J for lunch today, I have discovered, completely by accident, that I have a habit of wanting to stretch my time with her across the floors and footpaths and have it wind around the block and back. I think I must have filled up her filofax/organiser (do lawyers carry filofaxes?!) with sevenhundredandthirty days worth of stories. Ohdear.

It’s been a really long time since we met- so her visit to rafflesplace reminded me of daysgoneby when she was ultrahyper (with her little quirky catchphrases!?!) and had a nickname likened to a chicken. SoSurreal! Today, two years on (or more?), we are like old, old women sitting by the corner talking about strange people and strange things like growing up and dying.

Butbutbut it’s always nice to pick off where we left off. And I’ll always remember the little random email that she sent in spurts to my gmail during the silentdays (out of the blue!)- + it will always have a special place in my heart.

Today, I am also cold because my office space is an igloo.
