I love trapizza. I have only been there once (or twice) before because I’m always too lazy to travel. Harhar. But it is ohsogood and yummy and bestofall, it’s by the beach! Yesterday, in a bid to do something special and to mark the end of my newyearholiday, we took a ride down and did dinner and drinks by the sea.
AND AND AND..I must say that the pizza and pasta there can rival Melbourne’s anytime. Seriously! Even Z agrees that it’s a great substitute – which says a lot! It has a very crispy base and the mussels can meltinyourmouth…
Then it was off to meet J and the very lovely M at The Hill before they return to Melbourne the next day. We sent them off in style: expensive chamomile tea and a $17 tiramisu. But I like being there on the hills. They tell a story somehow. (I think I take nature for granted sometimes.)
I also wish I had my driver’s license. Or that I had an innate desire to exercise (since I eat too much).
The rest of my New Year was spent with Stephen Chow amongst others (God of Cookery, Million Dollar Man!). I think his old shows are so laughoutloud funny.
I have much to be thankful for today. My parents are finally home, work is picking up, Debs might be returning… how wonderful! I might also be getting an intern soon – so I’m really looking forward to that. Yay to company! On the way to work, I am reminded to send text messages to my favourite people (Hello, Ruth), so that chased away the mondaymorning blues.
I am rarely this violently chirpy on a monday.
