Blueprint 08: there was an advant garde french short film to introduce the separate designers. Everyone had their personal take on that one, but I have to say that the black+white film snippets made the event visually pleasing.

Male models doing their thing! AND they are wearing the lovely doc marts! I loved the industrial look – and the fact that I met Florence there since the MMs were all wearing her client’s products.  hurhur.

It’s been a busy week and I have during the course of seven days lost some interviews (stupid tape recorder) and gotten myself a horrid sore throat (thankyou di!).

If you were wondering what caught my eye on (and how close we were to) the catwalk, enjoy!

I must say I enjoyed the Blueprint collections (those you see from top to bottom). They were actually wearable (not v. high art or high fashion) and were inspired by furniture slash industrial design etc. During our meet-the-press session with the local designers, we also got a chance to see the furniture which played a part in the creation of these dresses.

Really quite spectacular.
