Singapore just won a silver medal for tabletennis! Woohoo!

So our red team makes it to the finals (finally!) for GOLD, but I’m feeling a bit iffy because we’re up against China! That’s gonna be tough since the Chinese seem to RULE the tabletennis court. hurhur. I’m happy with the Silver!!! Heh. Still I’m sure they’ll be working hard… ahhhh Chinese is on homeground though.
A good job nonetheless!

Other belated O news: 18-yo Singaporean Tao Li became the first Sporean swimmer ever to make it into the swimming finals. She walked away with 5th place in the 100m Women’s Butterfly. An amazing feat! Yay!
i know, i know!!!! i am so proud of the team too!!!! and tao li!!! the patriot in me was really on edge throughout the match today! sunday will be tough, being up against china… but their aim was to win a medal… colour doesn’t matter, it’s a bonus!!! let’s say it together again.. Majulah Singapura! :)
