A hug, I mean. Not a dog.
I am so dreadfully full!. OK- maybe dreadful is not the right word because it has somesort of -ve connotation and the source of my ‘fullness’ is a very happy source. Harhar. But I must say that I woke up (Still!) feeling the leftovers (and aftereffects) of too much pizza and pasta and durians. Hah!
I must REALLY start trying to do things in Moderation.
Ugh!
Butttt I have a weakness for Italianfood (+ Jap food + BahKutTeh + Teochew Porridge etcetc) and Ken made my favourite pasta with shinyred cherry tomatoes and bacon and rocket leaves. Andd the pizza (Mozzarella and Mushroom toppings!) came with such a nice crust -I cldn’t stop eating at all! I think the pizza edges/ triangular parts are the best because they are crunchy + crispy and crackled like Jacob’s Biscuit. (Yehyeh’s house had tins and tins of JB & Daddy would always dip the cracker into his cup of milo!)
Haha then again maybe it’s all about the presentation because Ruth/Ken placed it on a nice wooden board! AND Ken was wearing a chef apron (he looks soooo much like a Jap chef) and Jess was walking around with a chef-looking nationalday hat. Anyway, I had a great time and we left with anpan man figurines !! Love Anpan man and his friends!
Ruthlow- you always bluff me! Grin. You see – Everytime she says it’s something simple, I still end up having to walk home vv slowly because it alws becomes a feast to me.
Good food + great conversations = HappyDawn!
