I was invited to the Nu You : Men We Love party a few days ago- not to watch the men strut their stuff (harhar, seriously!) BUT to listen to Olivia Ong + band. We know the drummer there and I really enjoyed the performance. : ) I think Olivia Ong has such a lovely voice.(!) Her voice/songs remind me a little of Corrine May + Ken Hirai ..but the band played top40s that night.

I also bumped into P who was running around and making sure everything went smoothly. Heh! Wish I had more time to catch up with her tho! And A’s brother more than hospitable : ) thankyou

The night was an interesting one. I must admit that it was extremely weird seeing the boys strip to get the votes/ to see men taking part in beauty contests. ?! The eligible bachelors were judged on their looks, personality, well-balanced family life etcetc. A few of Z’s friends were also on-stage HAHA!

Ahhh! Time def . flies when you hv so much to do!

I have SOoo much to update and catch up on! There are photos piling up and they’ve bn bludging in my trusty omnia but I’v been too lazy/tired to upload them. In a nutshell, the week has been an eventful one. Hurhur. And it can only get better with the weekend!

+ Met Kanye West
+ Loved his new album (which he previewed/played for us in The Vault!)
+ Attended events that went back-to-back of each other(!)?!
+ Caught up with Kaye and Denice (FINALLY!)
+ Attended Nu You party at St.James
+ Gone Happyhalloween shopping
+ Finally found my costume (!) & it’s free. Haha I’m a cheapskate.
+ Hello TOKYO!
+ An impending AVENUE Q date ( :
+ House parties!

It was also my first time checking out the megahuge costume shop along Arab St. And I had fun! They even had huge pumpkins lying about the floor – vvamusing!
