Personal updates

Happy Monday Everyone!

I do hope you’ve had some time to take a breather and enjoy a cuppa (Earl Grey is my favourite!) – it does wonders to the start of the week!

(I’m getting inspiration for weddings + showers!)

Imustsay I’ve realised what a huge responsibility slash privilege it is – to be able to work from home and manage my own time and personal finances. It’s a gift! I love my work, and love being able to wake up and not dread mondays. But how do you do it + honour God with your time atst? I want my journey to be fruitful.

Anyways, I finally caught up with Ruth last night (over the net!) and we were talking about how easy it can be to turn complacent (in soo many ways) when you’ve got a system going. Iv also been mentally+physically exhausted w/ personal projects – so I was really looking forward to having a quiet+restful day today.  For now, I’m consciously reminding myself to go on dates with Jesus and to learn to say no (if ever!)!

Iv also been painfully aware that I need a wardrobe rehaul.

With Z’s new shop and upcoming events + new portfolios that I’ve found myself holding, I’ve been humbled by my lackofknowledge w/regards to many things! Di’s impending wedding also means we’ll be clearing + distributing our clothes amongst the 2 of us harhar – so it’s time to clear out the old stuff and start shopping smartly!

I’m in the process of finding good quality basics, I’ve got my Little Black Dress for Di’s wedding (!)
and will have to start my search for a good pair of shoes + evening dress + corset top!

I can’t believe it’s May already! Spore fashion fest and Di’s wedding -here we go!

Barker

Menswear boutique Barker finallly opened its doors @ Marina Square over the weekend!

I hear the media party will be happening some time in May? June? – so watch this space!

A collaboration w/ Australian designers, Barker aims to produce sharp/stylish  menswear without the extravagant price tags! Eversotimely I must say! : ) Their goal is also to provide more alternatives for the fresh breed of working professionals+ young executives + creatives + gentlemen out there.

I think the pictures on the walls look gooorgeous ! Whatdoyouthink? They were shot in Melbourne – and the dude in the fire is actually an award-winning Australian film producer!

We had wine, chocolates + strawberries y u m!

Some of my favourites:

This grey jacket reminds me of Jang Hyuk! I interviewed him once when he was in Singapore and he wore a similar looking one. I’v had a thing for grey suits ever since. Hee!

Dad also bought a suit there for di’s wedding (!) ! He got a light purple shirt + the pink shirt above + a black suit. He looks v good!!!. harhar. He rarely shops so it was vfunny to see mom make him try on the different suits.

This is a personal favourite. And I have a softsoft spot for the tags. So prettttty!

TGBTG!

More updates soon!
