Canyoubelievethis: I bought Julie & Julia for $4.50 today! There was a huge sale and the bk- hardcover(!)- was sneaking out frm the bin. Heh! I grabbed on to it and was late for earlymother’s day dinner because I had to pay for it! Harhar.

I’v bn wanting to check it out for awhile now + Im glad I did! Omg…the bk makes me soo hungry. merylstreep will be playing Julia Child in the movie (Ithinkshesbrilliant!) so this got me allexcited.

The Julie  character talks abt turning 30 and faces a minor midlife crisis. (It’s taken fm a true story!) She cooks her way through her breakdown/pain(?)- Potage Parmentier ( y u m ) + Boeuf Bourguignon. This will also be the 1st movie taken fm a blog (tt became a book).

sidenote: I wonder how I wld be when I turn thirty! twomoreyears! BUT I mustsay all my friends who hv gone before me display the thirties with such flair + fun + elegance, that Im thrilled 2b where I am TBH!Harhar! Im embracing it!

It’s also bn awhile since I’v seen a Nora Ephron movie (Sleepless in Seattle + When Harry Met Sally!) So I’m really stoked! Or maybeee Im just feeling hungry at 228am and cant wait to see the food play out on film hoho!
