Saturday Search: Kith Cafe

Every Saturday, I like to search for new haunts and/or try to do something different to be inspired (!) hurhur.  More often than not, I make an attempt to patronise places I’ve read/heard about. Sometimes, I go in search for The Greatest Breakfast In Singapore.

So in keeping with my Saturday Search, we brought Joel & Mich ( + Liang) out for breakfast and ended up at Kith Cafe completely by accident to check out their coffee and breakfast. And I must say it was a blessing in disguise! I thought their latte was amazingggg and the bread was soft to the touch(!). Yumm!

That’s the toast with poached egg but we also had the bigbreakfast with homemade strawberry jam. I especially love the toast (bigwhite + fluffy!)!

新年快樂

My mom made this hamper for Di’s in-laws hurhur. This picture doesn’t do much justice, but it’s huge and there’s heaps of foodstuff and pretty peony decorations! She has a knack for creating stuff like that and I think it looks so very prettty. Grin.

We’re having reunion dinner at Raph’s family home this year and I’m liking the change because WE ARE HAVING HOME-MADE PERANAKAN FOOD.

(omgoodness.)

Happy New Year to all!

my twin

It’s been a long time since Di and I took a picture together so I’ve decided to post this up for posterity! We don’t look as alike here because I didn’t have my glasses with me – but I’ve noticed how:

1. We are both as clumsy

2. Have the same Charles and Keith pumps

3. We still have the same guffaw and laughter that marked our secondary school days!

Just a few days ago I was relating to a friend how my sister was the Nespray girl in the TV/print Ad! We had great fun growing up!

She’s been putting me up (and/or putting upwithme hurhur) while our place undergo renovations so hooray to superhero sisters (and very kind+patient BILs!).

I heart my sister! <3

FBB from german pastries. And more.

We went by Lizzie’s place on Sunday to check out her new place and it was gorgeoussss! As usual, the girlies brought heaps of food and there were german pastries, homemade chorizo cheese dip, pretzel sticks, focaccia bread and very chi chi nespresso + TWG tea!

We had a great time catching up. Can’t wait for Lizzie’s wedding, we’re so excited and her new place looks lovely!
