Looking Forward

I don’t do resolutions.

But I’ve been reflecting a lot lately, and I’m excited to see what the new year will bring.

While I’ll let new projects simmer a little in my head (and heart) for awhile, here are some things I want to do this 2012:

1. Get my driver’s license (so I can drive my parents around, meet Ruthie for tea despite living so far away, send the hubby to the airport, and spend more time with my girlfriends whom I have so neglected this year.)

2.  Cook more and start collecting recipes!

3. Finally sign up and SHOW UP for a fun run of 5 km.

4. Sort out my wardrobe (harhar!)

getting to the heart of the matter

It’s almost December!

With the festive season just around the corner, my days are speeding up fastandfurious!

There are party invites and wedding preparations and details to take care of. We’re also trying to complete our home renovations in two weeks and we’re closing our Jan-Feb issue around the same time (just before the weddingoftheyear – as some friends call it harhar) – so I’m needed allovertheplace!

I haven’t had much time to sit and ponder, but I intend to do just that thankyouverymuch. I need that to keep my sanity. Busybuthappy – but I’ve got to protect my heart and make sure it stays restful everyday.
