31, and amazing.

My year always starts off with a bang (because it’s celebrations galore + birthday meals!).

Nel & I celebrated the new year with the first church service of the year (awesome), had a cheese and grapes gathering harhar, and spent the night with family and cousins.

Then, I got the hugest surprise of all time! (Here I am totally unglam and half-asleep.)

2 Jan: Old school gatherings with Pok and Ming + Ruthie. Then it was dinner at Mortons where I was totally pampered and spoilt!

happy twentytwelve!

Blessed New Year to all!

I realise I have a backlog of entries to blog about (more so for myself so that I can remember the many special things that happened!). But that’s for later. For now, I must say that I am feeling tremendously blessed and spoilt this new year! Thank you all who made my birthday so special!

Looking Forward

I don’t do resolutions.

But I’ve been reflecting a lot lately, and I’m excited to see what the new year will bring.

While I’ll let new projects simmer a little in my head (and heart) for awhile, here are some things I want to do this 2012:

1. Get my driver’s license (so I can drive my parents around, meet Ruthie for tea despite living so far away, send the hubby to the airport, and spend more time with my girlfriends whom I have so neglected this year.)

2.  Cook more and start collecting recipes!

3. Finally sign up and SHOW UP for a fun run of 5 km.

4. Sort out my wardrobe (harhar!)
